AbleRyder on Deviantart is an acquaintance of mine. We used to be old friends but we kinda grew apart. I even introduced her to the IZ fandom and fanart.
I was checking through her gallery, wondering how she has more deviations than me, when I found... well, lemme show you.

This one involves the black dots on their PAks. The black dots have been a part of Riu's character since before our coloring changed.

The linked avatar thing isn't much to complain about, but the fact that their avatars are almost a direct copy of ours is kind of infuriating.



If I find other stuff to rant on I'll post it. Anyone know what I can do?
I already plan on trying to catch her in the act, but if anyone has a faster method I'm willing to consider it.

Aside from both pickaxes looking like reqular pickaxes (in fact, yours is more of a scythe than anything), Exhibit B looking nothing alike, Exhibit C you're saying they stole the idea of having two characters hugging, and Exhibit D, WOW TWO ICONS THAT ARE KISSING I'VE NEVER SEEN THAT BEFORE!!1

Just...wow. :/

@stormy: You obviously missed some things... for one thing, it's the ideas not the art I'm complaining about. And the hugging in itself was not the problem, it was the PAKs. I used that image because it was the only one including both of them.

I see no ripping off here at all. I see someone who is a little over-protective of their characters doing a flying pirouette off the handle for seeing minute similarities.

For the record, even if they are ripping you off, there's legally nothing to be done about it. None of this would stand up in a court, ever.
